Pfeiffer, John

Resident of 270 Ferndale three doors from the Mustill store. His family had owned the propertiy since the early l900’s. He was an eccentric and committed observer of the canal and amassed a very large collection of canal debris which he organized and stored in his house on Ferndale. After his death in l976 at the age of 89 the city tore the house down and disposed of Pfeiffer’s collection.
