Raccoon

(Procyon lotor) Nocturnal mammals, omnivores who eat frogs, fish and crayfish as well as birds, mice, insects, earthworms, fruits, nuts and about anything else edible. They like to live in trees near water.
Chiefly gray, with black and white facial markings and a bushy ringed tails. Their amusing ways cause them to be often kept as a pets. The valuable coarse but handsome fur is used for coats, robes and hats.
